About The Light House

The Light House was a century-old house in Christchurch, New Zealand.

At the heart of the city is Christ Church Cathedral, which was severely damaged in the earthquakes in 2010 to 2012.

The Light House was situated on Bealey Avenue, one of the boundary avenues for the golden square mile of Christchurch.

Owned by The Wisbell Trust, The Light House has been a venue for services, products and courses to help with health, wellbeing and spiritual growth.

In 2010 The Light House was recognised at the Heritage Awards run by Rehua Marae and the St Albans/Papanui Community Board.

As a result of the earthquakes in 2010 to 2012, The Light House is scheduled for demolition.

Dr Wendy Rose Isbell has shifted her medical and homeopathic practice to ProMed, which is one block away at 933 Colombo Street (behind the car park for the 24 Hour Surgery).

You can follow the purple dots on the pavement to get to the new venue.

Her other activities, under the umbrella of Light House Illumination Ltd are now based online, and also at a smaller venue in the suburbs.
